Title: My sister had gone through stomach surgery due to which the ayyam-e-haiz are extended than normal days

Question: My sister had gone through stomach surgery due to which the ayyam-e-haiz are extended than normal days (no more regular periods are coming after operation). During this period, she has got talaq. Now the question here is, whether the iddah duration calculated will be 3 haiz (which would be 5-6 months in this case)? Or it can be calculated based on normal haiz days, i.e. approximately 3 months?

(Fatwa: 779/779/M=1433) In the question mentioned above, the iddah of your divorced sister shall complete after three haiz (menstruation cycle) though it completes in five or six months.
