Someone says, we should control it at our best, if not possible, then we can use the front side of left hand to cover-up the mouth. (Fatwa: 1223/208=TL/1429)

Yawning should be controlled as much as possible, if not possible one should put the back of left palm on mouth:

ووجہ القیل اظھر لانہ لدفع الشیطان کما مر وھی بالیسار اولی، ? وقدمنا فی آداب الصلاۃ عن الصلاۃ عن الضیاء انہ بظھر الیسری (شامی 2:13)

One can put his right hand whether palm or back of palm.
