Title: I have a question regarding "Black Wednesday" prayer. some of our Turkman people in Afghanistan, Iran and ... performing a four Rak'at Salat every year, last Wednesday of month of Safar only, believing that, that day is a bad day, so they do (specially women) the Salat to be safe in the day. if someone does that salat prayer believing in that is bad day or not, however is it Bid'ah (innovation)or not, with evidences from Kitab and Sunnah? could you please reply it as soon as you would to my email?

Neither it is proved from any proof that this day is bad nor any particular salah is required on this day. These are wrong ideas and disbeliefs of common people.
