    Title: What do the 'ulama of Deen say in regard to the excellence, merits and proofs of Durood-e-Taj which is established among the majority of muslims. Is the recitation of this Durood and accepting its excellence and merits is established/proven by the Shariah ruling or not? Or is it Shirk? or Bid'a?

    The virtue and merit of Durood-e-Taj mentioned by ignorant Muslims is mere nonsense and baseless. The other duroods narrated in traditions are far better. The Durood-e-Taj contains some words leading to shirk (associating God with Allah), so it must not be recited. It has no base in Shariah.
