Title: inheritance

Question: We were a tenant in a very old, without pagdi, independent house, the original landlord sold the property to a builder, who wanted us to vacate the house in exchange for money. This was used in buying 3 flats for our family. So was it allowed to receive the amount for this rental property?

Bismillah hir-Rahman nir-Rahim !

(Fatwa: 463/376/L=05/1435) It is not lawful to take money in order to vacate any rental property. It shall be like getting money illegally. You should return that much amount to the builder.
