(Fatwa: 994/550/D=1432) It is not lawful to take the exact haram money as debt. If the income is mixed or he gives the debt from halal money, (though his other earnings are haram) then it is allowable to take the debt.

Q. What is the verdict on using credit cards in the US? I know there is interest involved on those cards, but is it OK to still use them in a way that does not incur interest by making regular monthly payments. Q. One of my banks charges a fixed amount yearly for crdit card and ATM card as a service charge and also they deduct certain amount if monthly balance becomes lower than a minimum limit.
