    Title: dear mufti saheb my father in law works in state bank since 25 years he has a son and a daughter only. he use to send me gifts like sweets and clothes can i use them and about his property later on will be for his daughter plese explain us this is halal or haram or tell me what shall i do whether to use those things or not and about my wife and childens can they be allowed to be benefitted i will be very much thankfull please dont disclose my identity.

    If your father-in-law writes or maintains the accounts of interest, it is unlawful as per the Shariah. If he has no lawful source of income except it, you should avoid using the gifts sent by him. Also, keep on convincing your father-in-law to look for any lawful source of income.

    What you mean by property that his daughter will receive? Please, explain in detail.
