    Title: Assalam O Alaikum, > I have question regarding Aitkaf (Camping in Masjid in last Ashrah of Ramadhan). > I usually do nafl aitkaf for last two or three days in my neighboring masjid. This time when I did nafl aitkaf for last two days my moatkif coleagues told me that taking bath during Aitkaf is not allowed. Even you can't go for place of ablution (wudhu) for doing miswak or washing hand. You can do miswak while making ablution only. They have given me a reference of a book "Massail Aitkaf by Moulana Rafat Qasmi (Mudarris Darul Uloom, Deoband, India). My moatkif coleague who were doing sunnah aitkaf did not take bath even on Juma ul vida. They told me that taking bath breaks the aitkaf. These people (my moatkig coleague) have good knowledge of Islam and one of them is Ameer of Masjidwar jamat. > > Please also note that in our masjid place for ablution, toilet and bathroom is outside of Masjid premises.     The masala mentioned in "Masaele Aitekaf" is right. In the state of Aitekaf it is not lawful to go out of masjid for ghusl except when it is obligatory.
