    Bismillah hir-Rahman nir-Rahim !

(Fatwa: 1008/833/B=1433) It is written in the book "Tareekh Meelad" by Hadhrat Maulana Abdush Shukur Mirzapuri that for the first time a Christian man celebrated Jashn-e-Eid Milad al-Nabi of the holy Prophet Muhammad (صلى الله عليه وسلم) after 600 Hijrah. He was first to introduce this custom. Up to 600 Hijrah, nowhere in the Islamic History in any Islamic country the custom of Eid Milad al-Nabi was known. Those who celebrate Eid Milad al-Nabi they copy that Christian custom. Neither Eid Milad al-Nabi is proved from Sahaba while they loved the holy Prophet Muhammad (صلى الله عليه وسلم) the most, nor from tabeen, tab-e-tabiyeen and the Imams. It is not established from the holy Quran, Hadith, and Islam. Bidati people who are quite ignorant of the religion perform this custom. We should give up this custom. من احدث فى امرنا هذا ماليس منه فهو رد . (بخاري و مسلم)
