Title: Is Zakata faraz on Study money?

Question: I am amassing money for higher study for around one year. This amount has crossed the nisab. I have no enough money for other purpose except my daily need. Do I have to give zakah on my amassed money which will be used for study?

(Fatwa: 1302/893/L=11/1434) Yes, as long as that money is with you and it is equal to nisab then zakah shall be wajib provided the conditions of zakah are met.
