(Fatwa: 954/756/D=1431)

(1) It is unlawful to pay the interest of the jeweller with the bank interest; rather it is wajib to spend the bank interest on poor and needy ones.
(2) In taking loan by giving gold on security, one will have to give interest while taking and giving interest is haram; hence you should not do so.
