Bismillah hir-Rahman nir-Rahim !

(Fatwa: 618/618/M=1431)

If a woman performs the hajj rituals alone, her hajj shall be valid, however for a woman it is unlawful and sin to travel without husband or mahram. Yes, if the woman is present in Makkah then she can perform the hajj rituals alone, but the company of husband or mahram is better.

ثم المحرم أو الزوج إنما يشترط إذا كان بين المرأة و بين مكة ثلثة أيام فصاعداًفإن كان إقل من ذلك حجت بغير محرم الخ . (بدائع).
