Title: I am a student of hotel management were it is compulsary for us to study about alcohol,we have to serve alcohol during exams or practicals.we also prepare certian dishes in which alcohol is used,i try my level best and avoid it whenever it is possible for me,but at times i have no option& i have to do it ,though i do not plan it to do in my career what is youur opinion on it?

If the alcohol is made of grapes and dates or it contains any part of them, it will not be allowed to consume. But, if it is made of other agents like potato, wheat etc it is allowable to use it until it is not intoxicating. If one is not sure it is better to avoid.
