Title: Reading quran front of mayyat

Question: Can we read Quran nearby mayyat? I am from Kerala so, if the reply is in Malayalam it will be better.

It is makrooh to recite the Holy Quran loudly near the dead body before its ghusl. If the dead body had been given ghusl then it is not makrooh.

قال فى الدر المختار : وكره قراءة القرآن عنده إلى تمام غسله .
