- Q. regarding share trading i learnt that trading shares of those companies which do not indulge in unlawful business like wine company etc is permissible. But even if we invest in companies which do not have these haram products or services, like real estate, IT, power companies, they are involved in interest based financing for their projects and ventures. Investing in them will mean partnership in a company that's financed by haram means. Please, guide whether such investments are halal.

- Q. I have gone through the previous fatwas of Dar-ul-Ifta about the investment in stock market. I have come to know now that I have to invest in which type of companies. But my question is related to my previous investments. I have already invested in some on the companies which are not fulfilling sharia complaince criteria. I obviously have to get rid of such companies and I have to sell the shares of such companies. But will the profit I will get will be haram? As i didnt knew before this criteria of sharia compliance. Some of the companies in which I have invested I am getting profit and in some loss at this time but profit is more than loss. Please advise about such profit. Regards, Rana Khawar

- Q. Assalamalaykum. Can I resell shares purchased just minutes before,because--nowadays online trading facility of buying & selling shares is available, and on purchase our share demat account is immediately credited with the shares brought, although delivery( not physical takes place after 3 days). It is law of the indian governments that it takes 3 days.----but on purchase of share we get Confirmation,on the spot, from broker(via, contract note) regarding our purchases, stating that you are holding the said shares. So my question is ---can we sell shares, which are immediately recorded in our contract note when we buy them.?why we cant sell them even after a minute or so.It is faulty indian system of postponing the delivery, though every thing is recorded immediately---and we become owner of shares immediately.?They come in our possesion immediately.

- Q. Assalamu Alaikum Mufti Saheb. I have got an investment option where in i have to invest Rs.1,30,000 and would get a return of Rs.7500 pm. for five years and Rs.50000 at the end of five years. This is the investment plan. They say that our money will be invested in construction of apartments and i'm the temporary owner of 20 Square feet in a flat for five years for which we are getting the rent of Rs.7500 p.m for 5 years. As per my knowledge fixed income plans are not allowed. This plan also offers fixed income but they say and mention clearly that it is a rent which u receive hence it is fixed and it is obvious that rents are fixed. My question is 1) Can i invest money in this plan? 2) If yes, what if they invest our money in insurance, banks and like without informing us which is not allowed in islam. Hope my question is clear and I would be greatful if solution provided in accordance with Quran & Hadees.
