- Q. I am 56 years old and planning, inshallah, to travel for Umrah this Ramzan along with my wife. My wife's cousin sister who age is 56 years, same age as mine, also wishes to travel with us. Please let me know whether it is jayiz for her to travel with me and my wife and I acting as her Mahram. I have intimated to her that to the best of my knowledge she should not accompany me because I am her non-mehram but she says because of her age it is OK. In spite of my objection she still insists to accompany us. Please let me know what is my position in this situation.

- Q. During the month of Ramzan there is lot of crowd in the Haram so much so after we perform Nafl Tawafs during the Last 10 days of Ramzan especially in the late nights we are prevented by the authorities to say our Nafl Namaz of the Tawaf immediately anywhere in the Mataf area or anywhere in the Haram because the whole of Haram is packed with people saying there Shabina Namaz. During these circustances can we continue to perform 2 or more Nafl Tawafs at a stretch and later say our Nafl Namaz of Tawaf in 2 rakaats each for the number of Tawafs we had performed ? 2] Because of the vast crowd it becomes inevitable that we sometimes are forced to cross in front of people who are saying their namaz in the Haram. Is is Ok if this happens due to the situation prevelant in the Haram?

- Q. A few years ago, I went for Umrah. When over there, my hayd started and I was not able to perform Umrah. I went with a group of people and so we went to Madinah and Taif and Al-Ulaa. When we came back from these places we passed through the miqats three different times. I did not know that I am supposed to observe the rules of Ihram even though I was in Hayd so I did all the things such as apply perfume and let cloth touch my face and brushed my hair and some came out, etc. So I just acted like a normal person and never realized I was supposed to observe rules of Ihram. I found out last year about that, so what do I do? Do I have to give damm?
