- Q. I'm a woman & I'm very confused about women's role in the mission of Tabligh. I attend women's tablighi circles twice a week but the sisters there keep insisting that women should go out of them homes on mastoorat jamaats. Simply staying at home is not enough. My question : Is it really necessary for a woman to go on jamaats (local, national, international) or is it enough to seek & give dawah from their homes . Which is the better option ?

- Q. I would like to refer to book Fadaail-e-Hajj (English version) by Shaykh al Hadeeth Maulana Mohammad Zakariyya published by Kutub Khana Faizi Lahore, Pakistan, on Section 9; Manners of Ziarat, story no 9, a story about Syed Ahmad Rifaee (rahmatullahi alaih) which perform a hajj and ziarah rasulullah grave. On the grave, he recited a couple of poem. After that, the sacred hand of rasulullah came out of the grave and the syed kissed it. It is said that the occasion is witnessed by 90,000 people. My question, 1. can I trust the story because as what i knew, dead people cannot at any circumstances be brought alive. So, can dead people become alive? 2. The 90,000 witnessess is also seem superflous as can people with that huge number see the hand of rasulullah comes out from the grave and kissed by the syaikh? To me, the story is merely sufism in nature which laypeople like me could potentially misunderstood about the story and brought forward false story to other. Only Allah knows best.

- Q. I have a question regarding the effort of Tabligh. Recently in our Masjid, we have had an alim who joins mashwera, and he is adamant that when brothers are going out for gusht, only dawah for salaah should be given, if the person is not coming salaah, or only dawah for taleem should be given, if the person comes for salaah but doesn?t sit on taleem. The elders in the mashwera wouldn?t say anything but also would not carry out the advice. I spoke to one the 4 month brothers about this and he says that full 6 points dawah should be given as this is the advice from the elders. He said the reason no-one says anything is because he in an alim and when the alim last spent time, it over about 15 years ago, and the elders have changed what they were saying 15 years ago to now. What is the correct method?

- Q. Assalam Waleikum. I'm a non-muslim by birth but a true muslim in belief. From my childhood days I'm witnessing parents' quarrel. Now I'm 26 yrs old and can well understand the reasons for that. I've discovered that from early days my father has been getting involved in multiple illegal relationships (sexual relation as well) sometimes with married women, divorsee, and presently with an unmarried girl younger than me. A few months back I accidentally found them both in a room in 'uncomfortable position' but I didn't protest openly. My father also remains in contact with that girl via cell phone almost everytime which is very irritating. These are not unknown to my mother. My parents divorsed and re-married again about 7 years ago. Both of my parents stay in separate places (also because of jobs) but have no actual contact (only for show). In such a situation, I'm helpless and worried of my mother's mental condition. I cannot understand what to do in such a situation as per Islamic way of life. Whether to protest strongly or to leave everything on Allah. Please guide me. N.B.- Because am a non-muslim, I cannot understand the Islamic terms. Pls give the English meanings as well. Thank you. Assalam Waleikum.
