Title: Use of Interest and Zakah money

Question: I have uncle who is having too much debt from personal finance company and he is paying every month more and more interest money. He is having three children all are earning good but none of them is helping and also my uncle is not discussing this issue with his son. My uncle is also not doing anything his situation is now he can take zakah money also. So that can I use my zakah and interest money both or either of one for that purpose. Is he eligible for taking this money?

Bismillah hir-Rahman nir-Rahim !

(Fatwa: 993/998/L=08/1436) If he is really eligible to receive zakah then you may give him both the zakah as well as interest money.

Q. Assalamualaikum, This is regarding the zakat on Provident Fund(PF). I would like to know if zakat is valid on Provident Fund(PF). I am still working with the company and I haven't got it till now. I will get the Provident Fund(PF) once I leave the comapny. But there is a way by which I can check how much Provident Fund(PF) is contributed till date. Q. One of my friend's kid need to undergo surgery (Cochlear Implantation Surgery) to get hearing ability. The cost of operation will be more than 6 LAKHS. Father of this kid cannot afford this cost, as he is hailing from poor family. From our friend's circle, we would like to contribute for this surgery.
