Title: Mother has gold jewelleries some of which like bangles, necklace and earrings, she wears routinely

Question: Mother has gold jewelleries some of which like bangles, necklace and earrings, she wears routinely. But some of the jewelleries are kept as assets. Do we need to pay zakah for the jewelries she wears as well as the jewelries kept as asset or we have to pay zakah only on the jewellery kept as asset?

(Fatwa: 347/360/N=1433) Zakah is wajib on every type of jewellery whether it is used or preserved. قال في مجمع الأنهر (كتاب الزكاة باب زكاة الذهب والفضة والعروض 1: 306 ط دارالكتب العلمية بيروت لبنان): ويجب في ... حليهما سواء كان للنساء أو لا أو قدر الحاجة أو فوقها أو يمسكها للتجارة أو للنفقة أو للتجمل أو لم ينو شيئاً اهـ Hence as much gold your mother possess zakah shall be wajib on all of them.
