Title: Pregnant woman prayers during eclipses

Question: Please let me know what virtues or traditions should a pregnant woman follow during the time of solar or lunar eclipses? Some people say that she should not go outside home, should not cut any vegetables and donate the clothes she wore on that day. Please clarify whether such beliefs are incorrect or false?

(Fatwa: 1226/1226/M=1432) One should offer salah during solar and lunar eclipses and should get oneself busy in dua etc. The same ruling is for a pregnant woman as well. A woman should not come out of her home without a need, but it is not prohibited due to kusuf and khusuf. Preventing her from cutting vegetables and giving in charity the worn clothes is baseless and nonsense. It is not right to have such belief.
