(Fatwa: 408/314/D=1431)

As per hadith of Usailah, at least one time intercourse (penetration of penis in vagina) is compulsory. There is no limit for the period of muashirah:

الطلاق لمن أخذ الساق ۔۔۔ والذي بيده عقدة النكاح

Allah (Subhana Wa Ta'ala) knows Best
