Title: Using soap, shampoo in ghusl, daily ghusl

Question: Is it necessary to perform ghusl everyday, or can one simply have a normal bath and perform ghusl on Friday? (2) Did the Prophet Muhammad (SAW) perform ghusl everyday? (3) Is it necessary to wash one's hair everyday? (4) Is it permissible to use soap to wash one's body? (5) Is it permissible to use shampoo to wash one's hair?

Bismillah hir-Rahman nir-Rahim !

(Fatwa: 1302/1116=L/1429) (1) It is not wajib (necessary) to have bath (ghusl) every day, it is sunnah only on Friday. Nor it is necessary to have a simple bath daily as well, but one can do so it he likes. (2) No. (3) It is not necessary. (4) Yes. (5) It is permissible.
