It is makrooh to do salam to a person who is making wudhu and is busy in reciting the dua of wudhu. Likewise, salam is makrooh at the time of azan and to a person who is busy eating. Places where one should not do salam is mentioned in Shami and other Fatawa books. 

One should sit in toilet in a way that one's face or back is not towards the Qiblah; rather it should be towards north or south.
