(Fatwa: 1739/1370/B=1431)

When one discharges semen with lust i.e. due to having intercourse with wife or had wet dream, or masturbated or sodomized or a woman became paak (clean) from menstruation or nifas (postpartum blood), in all these cases, ghusl will be fardh.

Allah (Subhana Wa Ta'ala) knows Best
