Title: Does the impurity transfer from one cloth/object to another object/cloth?

Question: For the past 1 year I have been strongly affected with waswas. Everything I see I think it is najis. I am washing everything water tap, bathing bucket, even the switches, mobile phones. Please clarify me that the impurity on one’s hand will transfer to the places they touch. When I touch the place impurity is contaminated with a wet hand my hand will become impure or not. Please reply me and dua for me.

Nothing can be ruled out impure because of mere suspicion. Therefore, merely due to suspicion until it is not sure or probable that the impurity is smeared, you should not consider anything unclean or wash it, otherwise you will become a patient of doubt. However, if there is impurity on the hand and the hand is placed on something for so long that the effect of impurity spreads in it, then that thing will become impure.

إذا وضع رجله على أرض نجسة، أو على لبد نجس، إن كانت الرجل رطبة والأرض أو اللبد يابسأ، وهو لم يقف عليه بل مشى لا تنجس رجله، ولو كانت الرجل يابسة والأرض رطبة وظهرت الرطوبة في الرجل تتنجس رجله. (المحيط البرهاني في القفه النعماني 1/190)
