Title: Dog hairs in water sump

Question: I am rented in ground floor and in 3rd floor another tenants are staying who has a pet dog. They take the dog for a walk which spreads dogs hairs across stairs and in front of my home. Sometimes even these hairs fall into water sump. Same water we use for ghusl, wudhu and for washing utensils. We have applied filter in our taps to avoid it. But want to know what Islam says in this regard.

According to Imam Abu Hanifah (may Allah have mercy upon him) a dog is not Najas al-Ain (impure by nature), rather only its saliva is impure. Hence in the question mentioned above if there is no physical impurity on the hair of the dog then merely by falling these hair in the water it will not be impure. You may do ghusl and make wudhu with that water, it is allowable.
