Title: Many times I observed when I do vaju (Abluation) perticulerly my hand some places remains dry after washing three times(Even after taking all precaution) is it correct to wash more than three times to make sure it will not remain dry? As one of person(He is not autority person) that we should not wash more than three times as it is against sunnah but my view is all part should be washed as it is farz even if it requires to wash more than three times.

Washing the parts more than thrice is makrooh (and against sunnah) only when the water had reached to entire area. But if the water did not reach the entire area, it is necessary to wash it more than thrice. Similarly, if anyone washes more than three times just for the sake of satisfaction, it is also allowable. Yes, if one is of a suspicious nature, he should wash only three times and should turn down the suspicion:

ولو زاد لطمأنينة القلب أو القصد الوضوء على الوضوء لا بأس به وحديث فقد تعدى محمول على الاعتقاد و في الشامي: لأنه أمر بترك ما يريبه إلى ما لا يريبه وينبغي أن يقيد هذا بغير الموسوس وأما هو فيلزمه قطع مادة الوسواس عنه وعدم التفاته إلى التشكيك لأنه فعل الشيطان وقد أمرنا بمعاداته ومخالفته (الدر المختار مع الشامي 1:240)
