(Fatwa: 561/561=M/1430)

One should avoid licking the tongue of wife in the state of fasting; since swallowing the saliva of one?s beloved will break the fast and kaffarah (expiation) will be wajib if it is Ramadhan fasting; therefore one should avoid it. If wife is not fasting, then it is not undesirable in her case, but if husband is fasting he should avoid it.
