    The salah of all the people will be valid, but the imam should not shorten the qadah to an extent that people find it difficult to complete their al-tahiyaat. He should mind those following him and should not hurry up. Yes in tarawih, if more delay is causing weariness and fatigue in people then it is allowable to recite short durood and dua.
