(Fatwa: 52/52=B/1429)

There are several traditions related to putting hand below navel:

رأیت النبي صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم وضع يمينه على شماله في الصلاة تحت السرۃ أخرجہ ابن أبي شیبۃ و رجالہ ثقات، وقال الشیخ قاسم بن قطلوبغا الحنفي أن ھذا سند جید

(2) أن عليا رضي الله عنه قال: السنة وضع الكف على الكف في الصلاة تحت السرة. رواه أبوداؤد

 (3) قال أبو هريرة: أخذ الأكف على الأكف في الصلاة تحت السرة۔ رواه أبوداؤد

(4) عن ابراھیم قال یضع یمینہ علی شمالہ في الصلاۃ تحت السرۃ۔ رواہ محمد بن الحسن الإمام في آثارہ نحوہ
