(Fatwa: 1319/1238=D/1429)

Supplicating after performing obligatory salah is proved by the Hadith and it is also narrated that the supplication is a virtuous thing. The people should supplicate individually; however it is not wrong if it looks like congregational. If someone ends the prayer earlier while the other prays a bit longer, it is also not wrong, it is allowed. By ?congregational? if you mean some other method, then you should explain it.

Q. I just wanted to ask few questions in regarding Salat which i want to clarify , 1. It has happened with me that once i prayed salat and later realized after finishing my salat that in the surah fatiha i missed to recite one particular line (siratal mustakeem). And that to i am not sure but i think i have missed. Because I dint realize in salat i didnt even did sajdah sahu .Also i am confused about it whether I read it or not . And i was really worried because i came to know about it when i went to toilet at the time of maghrib , due to confusion I repeated my asir salat with qaza neyat , but can you please tell me the way to overcome these doubts . 3. what should I do when I have doubt in my mind , it appears to be shaitan has constantly bringing doubt about my salat making me feel guilty whether I have performed my salat properly or not .
