Title: Can Female pray Salah Trawih in the Mosque.

Question: I want to know that can females pray salah or tarawih in the mosque, if we provide separate arrangement with purdah in our mosque basement. We have a big mosque with huge basement. Please give me fatwa regarding this concern with the Quran and Hadith.

Bismillah hir-Rahman nir-Rahim !

(Fatwa: 1109/726/L=1434) Women are not allowed to offer tarawih salah in the mosque. Hence no arrangement should be made for their salah in the basement. قال فى البدائع: ولا يباح للشواب منهن الخروج إلى الجماعات بدليل ما روى عن عمر رضى الله عنه أنه نهى الشواب عن الخروج ، ولأن خروجهن إلى الجماعة سبب للفتنة والفتنة حرام وما أدى إلى الحرام فهو حرام (بدائع الصنائع)
