(Fatwa: 822/805/N=1433) Whatever one takes on reciting the holy Quran in tarawih is not right as per the Shariah whether it is called compensation or gift. Both types of people who give and take shall be sinful and no one shall get any reward of reading and listening to the holy Quran.
