Title: Is it permissible for Imam Sahib to make dua after fardh salah

Question: Is it permissible for Imam Sahib to make dua after fardh salah? If yes, prove it by hadith or Quran and if not than give me proper answer please. And can you give answer that what Deobandi scholars have said about this action? Please give me answer.

(Fatwa: 452/465/N=1433) In the light of hadith and the narrations of Fiqh, it is not only lawful rather masnoon and mustahab for imam and muqtadi to supplicate after fardh salah. The Ulama of Deoband favour the same. A brother told me that we must recite the last three Surah of the Quran: Ikhlas, Falaq, Nas in the 3th rakat of Witr. Does this has a origin?
