Title: Our imam offered only two rakahs in Maghrib salah and after salam

Question: Our imam offered only two rakahs in Maghrib salah and after salam when we said him then again he offered three rakahs as recommended, some of our friend told that as per hadith if we do only two rakahs and complete salah then after that simply offer one rakah and complete salah with sajdah sahv. Please clarify.

Bismillah hir-Rahman nir-Rahim !

(Fatwa: 822/690/B=1433) If imam did not make long delay after salam or did not talk and offered one more rakah immediately and performed sajdah sahv then salah was complete. Those who have talked their salah will turn invalid. They will have to offer fresh salah again.
