Title: I have following doubts in my mind and hence I do not go for Zuhr prayers during my office hours

Question: I have following doubts in my mind and hence I do not go for Zuhr prayers during my office hours. In my office the chair on which I sit must have been used by someone else and people of other religions do not maintain hygiene, drop their pants on floor while sitting in western toilets. Also I have seen people standing on chairs with their shoes. It is not always that I use the same chair daily cleaning staff move them during weekends. What shall I do in this case? Kindly guide me.

    Bismillah hir-Rahman nir-Rahim !

(Fatwa: 256/198/B=1433) In the question mentioned above, it is not lawful for you as per the Shariah to show laziness towards salah merely for those groundless doubts. Rather a chair is usually clean, it cannot be considered impure only due to doubt. Hence you should offer salah with jamah and do not pay any attention to these doubts. اليقين لا يزول بالشك A chair shall not get impure if any non-Muslim sits over it.
