Title: I am from India & presently working in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. I follow the Hanafi maslak. Sometimes due to work related travel I mis the jamat of Zohar salah. But I try to reach the masjid at the earliest to perform my Zohar salah. But sometime it happens that when I reach the masjid I find that Asar Jamat (as per Hambali timing) has started. But as per Hanafi salah timetable I still have time for our Zohar salah, as Asar time has not started as per Hanafi timetable. Now my question is what should I do? Do i read the Zohar salah first & then try to join the jamat of Asar which has already started may be the jamat may be over before I complete my Zohar salah. or I directly join the jamat for Asar salah & read my Zohar after that? I am very confused. But this happens only sometimes may be once in 3-4 months.

First perform Zuhar salah. Next, the better option is not to offer Asr salah until the time of Asr starts according to mislain (when shadow of an object is double of its size). It does not matter if you have to offer Asr salah individually. This the preferred view of Hanafi Fiqh.
