Bismillah hir-Rahman nir-Rahim !

(Fatwa: 281/281/L=1431)

At the time of Kusoof (solar eclipse), two rak?at salah is Sunnah. It should be performed with jama?at. And it is sunnah to recite long surah such as Al-Baqarah etc with long rukoo and saj?dah, and the recitation should be slow.

وسن تطويلهما بنحو سورة البقره وسن تطويل ركوعهما و سجودهما (طحاوي)

و يخفى القراءة عند أبي حنيفة و عندهما بجهر و عن محمد كقول أبي حنيفة (كبيري)

After salah, the imam will perform dua while all the muqtadi will say Amen until the Kusoof comes to an end.
