Title: About Musafir Salah

Question: (1) I work with an office around 300 km away from my home and stay there 5 days and go home at the end of the week. Now my question is whether I am a musafir or muqim? (2) And one another question, I always have stomach pain due to gas during the prayer and even sometimes I think I lost my wudhu. Can I continue the prayer in such kind of situation with previous wudhu?

Bismillah hir-Rahman nir-Rahim !

(Fatwa: 913/834/B=9/1438)

(1) In the above mentioned case, until you do not make the intention to stay for fifteen days in your work place you shall remain musafir and would offer qasr salah. You shall not become muqim merely by staying for five days. However, when you reach your native place then you shall offer full salah though you visit your native place only for one day.

(2) Until you are not sure that the wind has passed or bad smell is felt till then you shall keep on offering salah, the wudhu does not break merely by doubt and salah is also not invalid.
