Title: Assalamu alikum, I saw in Saudi Arabia in Airport prayer hall, one person was offering Salah, another person joined him while he was in the middle of prayer, where the first person became Imam. Please let me know is it allowed to join if a person is offering prayer and if we know it is Farz prayer.

You can join him if he offers the same which you were going to perform, it is alright to perform the salah behind him:

والإمام ینوي ما ینوي المنفرد، ولایحتاج إلی نیۃ الإمامۃ حتی لو نوی أن لا یؤم فلانا فجاء فلان واقتدی بہ جاز (عالمگیري 1:66 الفصل الرابع في النیۃ)

وفي الأشباہ والنظائر: ولو حلف أن لایؤم أحدا فاقتدی بہ إنسان صح الاقتداء (35)
