    Title: While sitting in tashddud some scholers say we have to lift index finger continiously and some say's only when we reach ASHHADU LAILAHAILLALAH , what is correct and which is supporting hadit for these two views?

    The second way is preferable i.e. raise the fingers at la ilaha and put it down on illallah, it is supported by Hadith and traditions:

    وفي المحيط أنها سنة يرفعها عند النفي ويضعها عند الإثبات وهو قول أبي حنيفة ومحمد وكثرت به الآثار والأخبار فالعمل به أولى ا ه فهو صريح في أن المفتى به هو الإشارة بالمسبحة مع عقد الأصابع على الكيفية المذكورة لا مع بسطها (شامي 2:217)
