Title: I have been with Tabligi Jama'at from last so many years and they used to shake hands with both hands which likes to good.Could you provide me some authentic Hadith and verses of Quran for that, i will be thankfull.

Bismillah hir-Rahman nir-Rahim !

(Fatwa: 1202/1974=H/1429)

يا ايها الذين آمنوا اطيعوا اللہ و اطیعوا الرسول (سورة النساء) ما آتاكم الرسول فخذوه وما نهاكم عنه فانتهوا (سورة الحشر)

It is written in Bukhari Shareef:

 ...ابو معمر قال سمعت ابن مسعود يقول علمني النبي صلي الله عليه و سلم وكفي بين كفيه التشهد كما يعلمني السورة من القران: التحيات لله ?الخ (د) اثر باب الاخذ باليدين: وصافح حماد ابن زيد ابن المبارك بيدیه (بخاري شريف: ج/دوم/ص926( (ه) عن امامه ان رسول الله صلي الله عليه وسلم قال: اذا تصافح المسلمين لم تفرق اكفهما حتي يغفر لهما (المعجم الكبير للطبراني:ج/8(

These are authentic traditions, we have mentioned them with references so that you or other people may not face any difficulty in referring to them. It is proved by these traditions that the two persons should take their both hands while shaking hands.
