Title: Qurbani

Question: I am from Mumbai. We are 12 members in the family and need to do Qurbani of all 12 and 1 on behalf of the holy Prophet Muhammad (SAW) So total 13 Qurbani. Since it is difficult to find place in Mumbai to take care of so many goats can I do Qurbani of 4-5 in Mumbai and for the remaining Qurbani I will give the amount for each sacrifice to Safeer who have visited Mumbai from madrasa from villages and collecting money for Qurbani?

(Fatwa: 1220/1316/N=1433) Yes, if you trust those Safeer and the responsible persons of those madrasa that they would perform the slaughter correctly on your names then you can give them the money for Qurbani.
