Bismillah hir-Rahman nir-Rahim !

One can protect himself from sins by his own will and determination. The main thing is determination and constant effort; there is no special dua for the same. Yes, one should pray Allah to grant him courage and power to shun from sins. However, one should get himself away from acts which lead to sins and recite the below dua with durood exceedingly:

اللھم حبّب الینا الایمان و زیّنہ فی قلوبنا و کرّہ الینا الکفر والفسوق والعصیان واجعلنا من الراشدین
