You should have married as per your parents' choice. It is absolutely unsuitable for a girl to marry on her choice overlooking her parents? willingness. Although father has no right (right of marrying) over his grown-up daughter but Shariah has also given him a right to object if she ties the knot out of her match. If the boy you have married is not compeer with you in religion, morality, education and profession then your father's objection is justifiable. If he stops you to visit him, you should ask your husband for divorce or get separated through khula. And, if the boy is of your match, your nikah is valid and your father should raise no objection.
