Title: Walimah without having sex

Question: Some of my friends says that it is necessary to have sex on the frist night, otherwise walima will not be valid. Please guide me.

Bismillah hir-Rahman nir-Rahim !

(Fatwa: 685/574/B=1433) Having sex in the first night is not necessary to get the walima valid. Walima is valid even without having sex.
