Title: I have made nikah n stupulated the mahr amount but i came to UAE insha allah i`ll pay mahr

Question: I have made nikah n stupulated the mahr amount but i came to UAE insha allah i`ll pay mahr n bring her home after 1 year. i`m heartfully thinking i have full rights on her also she perform everything with my permission. can u pls explain me do i have 100% rights on her before paying the mahr.

(Fatwa: 597/361/D=1432) What do you mean by full right? Also did the mahr mo'aj'jal (prompt dower) was fixed or mowajjal (payable at later date)? If mahr mo'aj'jal was fixed, the wife has right to stop you from having intercourse or travelling with you until she receives her mahr mo'aj'jal. And if the explanation of mo'aj'jal was not made, then too she can stop until she receives as much amount as usually is paid in mahr mo'aj'jal in your area. قال فى الدر ولها منعه من وطی ودواعيه والسفر بها الخ (ص: 202، ج:1) In case, it was mowajjal she has no right to stop you. However, all rights pertaining to nikah will remain established for both.
