Question: Assalamu alikum sir, my question is a man is married (NIKAH) without the knowledge of his family after some time the family is ready to get married (nikah) with the same girl is it permissable in islam or not.

If the person has made ijab-o-qubool (proper exchange of words) of nikah according to Shariah in the presence of legal witnesses, then the first nikah is valid. There is no need to solemnize the nikah again. But owing to any particular interest, if you wish to perform the marriage ceremony to show the world, then you can do so to serve your end. However, it is useless. 

But, in case you established physical relation with your wife after nikah, submit the question again.
