Title: Suggestion on keeping the name Maryam Zahra

Question: Allah subah-na-hu-taala have blessed me with a baby girl (after 4 generations a girl has born in family) and we want to name her Maryam Zahra, so will it be right to name her Maryam Zahra, or should we keep her name Maryam only? Thanks!

(Fatwa: 569/480/B=1433) May she be blessing for you, may Allah make her pious and righteous and may she be given longevity and prosperity! You can keep any of the two names: Maryam or Maryam Zahra. Both names are right.
