Title: Praying behind a IMAM who follows Milad un nabi and reads mowlood

Question: The Milad and Qiyam were not known in the age of the Prophet (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam) and his companions and even in the age of Tabe’iin (those who followed the companions). These things were innovated and introduced in later ages. Therefore, it is totally prohibited to follow such things and to condemn the Muslims who do not observe these acts. It is makrooh-e-tahrimi (undesirable to haram extent) to pray behind such imams who follow such customs. Believing that the Prophet (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam) is Hazir and Nazir shirk (ascribing partner to Allah). Allah (Subhana Wa Ta'ala) knows the best. My question is in our city 95% Ulama celebrate this maulood. We are forced to pray behind them. What is the status of our namaz, will Allah accept it?

    Bismillah hir-Rahman nir-Rahim !

(Fatwa: 265/265/M=03/1435) You should have attached the copy of the above mentioned Fatwa. It is bida’h to celebrate Eid Milad Al-Nabi. If there are some other people of correct belief in your area then you should do jamah with them. And if it is not so then offer salah behind those imams who celebrate Eid Milad Al-Nabi in compulsion provided they do not have Shirkiya belief. It is better to offer salah behind bida’ti imam instead of offering it alone. In this case you shall get the virtues of jamah.
